This policy explains how customer reviews work on coomax.co. We publish it to comply with Article 20.4 of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, as amended by Law 4/2022, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/2161 (the “Omnibus” Directive) and requires traders to state whether, and how, they check that published reviews come from consumers who have actually bought or used the product.

Do we verify that reviews come from real buyers?

No. We do not currently verify that the reviews published on this website come from consumers who have purchased or used the product.

Reviews on coomax.co are not linked to a confirmed order. There is no automated check tying a review to a purchase record, and none of the reviews currently published carries a “verified purchase” marker.

We state this plainly because the law requires it, and because presenting unverified reviews as if they were verified would be a misleading commercial practice.

What this means when you read a review

  • A review reflects the personal opinion of the person who wrote it, at the time they wrote it.
  • Because we do not verify purchases, you should not read a review as proof that its author bought the product.
  • Product experience varies with the model, the conditions of use and individual expectations. A review is not a technical specification and does not form part of the product description.
  • The average rating shown on a product page is the arithmetic mean of the reviews published for that product. It carries the same limitation as the individual reviews it is calculated from.

How reviews are published

Reviews are submitted through the review form on each product page. They are held for moderation and published once reviewed, in chronological order.

Moderation

We moderate reviews before publication. We remove or decline to publish content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or obscene;
  • contains personal data of the author or of third parties (names, addresses, telephone numbers, order numbers);
  • is spam, advertising, or a link to another shop;
  • is unrelated to the product being reviewed;
  • infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party.

We do not remove a review because it is negative, and we do not edit the substance of what a reviewer wrote. A critical review that complies with the rules above stays published.

Incentives

Where a review has been submitted in exchange for any benefit — a discount, a free product, a prize draw entry or any other consideration — that fact will be disclosed next to the review. If no such disclosure appears, no incentive was recorded for that review.

Your rights over your own review

If you have written a review and want it corrected or deleted, write to [email protected] from the email address you used, telling us which review it is. Reviews contain personal data, so you also have the rights described in our Privacy Policy.

Reporting a review

If you believe a published review is false, misleading or breaches this policy, tell us at [email protected], identifying the review and explaining why. We will look at it and remove it if it breaches this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we start verifying purchases in the future, we will update this page and say clearly how the verification works and from when it applies.
