MODEL INSTRUCTIONS
Nano V8 Bluetooth loop kit instructions
Connect the loop to its powered unit before pairing. Confirm the printed control and blue-light states for V8; its hardware and charging sequence differ from V4.
Before you start
Nano V8 Bluetooth loop and powered unit, charging parts and passive Nano receivers.
Check the loop connection before searching for the Bluetooth device.

1. Check your kit and selected receiver
- Nano V8 rechargeable induction unit and neckloop.
- Ten round Nano receivers with their extractor bar.
- Two standard Nano receivers, an extractor magnet and an extractor bar.
- A USB charging cable.
Identify the receivers separately from the larger extractor magnet and bars. The kit contains different Nano shapes; the number of supplied receivers is not an instruction to put multiple receivers into the ear.The current options are Nano, Nano + Vip Pro SuperMini, Nano + Vip Pro SuperMini Beige, and Nano + Vip Pro UltraMini. A Nano + Vip Pro option adds one selected receiver and two 337/SR416SW cells. The cells are only for that optional receiver.
2. Charge and check the lights
- Connect the supplied charging cable to the unit and a 5 V, 1 A USB power supply.
- The connector does not sit fully inside the Nano V8 port. Do not force it farther than its normal seated position.
- A red light indicates charging. Allow approximately one hour.
- Charging is complete when a blue light comes on. Disconnect the charging cable before use.
Listed operation is approximately three hours, depending on volume and use. The phone may show a battery percentage in its status bar or Bluetooth settings when connected; that display depends on the phone. For long storage periods, use and recharge the battery at least once every three months.

3. Connect the loop and pair Bluetooth
- Before switching on, check that the neckloop is connected securely to the induction unit.
- Press and hold the unit’s button until the blue light comes on and flashes.
- Enable Bluetooth on the phone and search for V8 or a similar model label.
- Select it and check that the phone shows it connected. The blue light goes out while a phone is connected.
- Start a known recording or song and select the connected V8 as the phone’s playback or call output.
The first pairing is retained for reconnection to that phone with Bluetooth enabled. While connected to one device, the unit is hidden from other Bluetooth searches. Disconnect the first phone before trying to pair another. If no light comes on, charge the unit fully and try again.
4. Button, microphone and volume
The integrated microphone is at the top of the neckloop. Keep it uncovered. Adjust the volume on the phone. The unit button controls the functions listed below.
| Control or light | Action or state | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Unit button | One click | Answer a call, or play/pause a recording. |
| Phone volume | Adjust on the phone | Use the lowest audible level. |
| Blue light | Flashing after switching on | Bluetooth pairing. |
| Blue light | Off while connected | A phone is connected; this state alone is not a power fault. |
| Unit button | Hold until the blue light flashes three times | Switch off. |
Some remote commands depend on the phone or playback app. Use the phone’s own controls when a function is unavailable. Use the phone to end a call. Start at low volume and avoid continuous maximum volume.
5. Run the tabletop audio check
- Work in a quiet room with all small parts on a table. Identify the Nano receivers and keep them separate from the extractor parts.
- Check that the loop is connected to the charged unit and Bluetooth is paired.
- Place at least two Nano receivers together in direct contact with the neckloop on the table.
- Play a known track and check for faint sound or vibration outside the ear. Increase volume gradually for this check, then reduce it before use.
- If there is no response, charge for at least an hour, check the Bluetooth connection and phone audio output, and try another compatible phone.
This is a check of the audio path outside the ear. It does not verify an in-ear position, or guarantee that a passive receiver cannot be faulty.
6. Optional Vip Pro receiver
These steps apply only to a Nano + Vip Pro option. Nano receivers have no battery to fit.
Fit the 337/SR416SW cell
- Unscrew the optional receiver’s cap with your fingers.
- Fit one 337/SR416SW cell with the positive (+), marked face upward.
- Refit the cap carefully and check that it is aligned.
Check it on a table
With the loop connected and Bluetooth audio playing, place the optional receiver near the neckloop on a table and check for sound. A hiss alone does not prove correct operation. For loud buzzing, remove the cell, check its positive-up orientation and cap alignment, then try a charged cell. Contact support if the problem persists; do not stretch an internal spring or probe the receiver’s openings with a needle. The cell drains while installed even without audio. Remove it after use.
7. Neckloop position, removal and storage
Wear the connected loop around the neck and keep the microphone clear of clothing and tape. Keep the powered unit dry. It is not washable and must be removed from clothing before washing. The round and standard Nano sets have extractor bars; the standard set also has the larger extractor magnet. Do not insert these tools into the ear canal. Count and account for the small receivers after use. A lack of sound does not prove that a receiver has been recovered. An optional Vip Pro receiver has a transparent retrieval thread. Hold it with your fingers only when it is already accessible, and stop if removal is difficult. Remove the cell once the receiver is out of the ear.
Do not insert cotton buds or tools into the ear canal, or push a receiver deeper. If removal is difficult, stop and get medical care. Seek urgent care for severe pain, bleeding or discharge; a battery in the ear needs immediate medical help. See Mayo Clinic: foreign objects in the ear and NHS: earwax build-up.
Clean the removed Nano receivers, extractor magnet and bars with water or isopropyl alcohol only outside the ear. Keep liquids away from the powered unit and let removed parts dry completely before storing them. Ask support about cleaning an optional Vip Pro receiver; do not use needles.
Switch off
Hold the unit button until the blue light flashes three times. Switch off after use to avoid the battery discharging while stored.
Fix a failed check
V8 does not appear in Bluetooth search.
Check the loop connection before switching on. Hold the button until the blue light comes on and flashes, then search for V8 or a similar label. Charge fully if there is no light. Disconnect a phone already connected to the unit before searching from another phone. The kit does not work.
Check charge, the loop connection and Bluetooth pairing. Play a known track through the selected Bluetooth output and repeat the tabletop test. For the optional Vip Pro receiver, check its cell and cap separately. If a component still fails, contact support.I hear nothing or very little.
Check the phone’s output, mute state and volume, then repeat the tabletop test. Wear the neckloop around the neck for use. If using Vip Pro, check a charged 337 cell and positive-up orientation. Do not push a receiver deeper to increase volume.Only one receiver seems to work.
Identify the receivers separately from the removal accessories and check the audio path on the table. Check the optional receiver’s cell independently. Contact support if a receiver still does not respond; do not assume deeper placement or one particular ear is the solution.Sound can be heard outside the ear.
The unit can produce audible sound when the volume is high. Reduce the phone’s volume to the lowest audible level and check the neckloop position. Do not push the receiver deeper to conceal the sound. The optional Vip Pro receiver buzzes loudly.
Remove its cell, place the positive (+) face upward and align the cap carefully. Try a charged 337/SR416SW cell. If buzzing persists, stop using it and contact support rather than altering the internal spring. The button does not perform the expected action.
One click answers a call or plays/pauses a recording. Some phones or apps do not support every remote action. Use the phone’s own call or playback controls, or test another compatible phone. Use the phone to end a call. The microphone does not work.
Keep the microphone at the top of the neckloop uncovered and check that the call uses the Bluetooth headset output. Microphone support can vary by phone. Review the phone’s call audio settings or test another compatible phone.I cannot remove the receiver.
Stop if removal is difficult. Do not insert tools, force the receiver or repeat unsuccessful attempts. Get medical care; severe pain, bleeding or discharge needs urgent care, and a battery in the ear needs immediate medical help. The unit worked earlier but has stopped.
It may have discharged after being left on. Charge fully, check the loop connection, reconnect Bluetooth and repeat the tabletop test. A fitted optional Vip Pro cell can also discharge even without audio.Battery life is short.
Allow approximately one hour of charging until the blue full-charge light comes on. Avoid continuous maximum phone volume and use the lowest audible level. Switch the unit off after use, and use and recharge a stored battery at least once every three months.Care and safety
Do not push a receiver deeper or put tools or cotton buds into the ear canal. If removal is difficult, stop repeated attempts and get medical help. Severe pain, bleeding or discharge needs urgent care; a battery in the ear needs immediate help.
