The MegaMini Bluetooth Kit uses a direct Bluetooth earpiece and a separate Bluetooth microphone. It is a different audio layout from the Mini, SuperMini and UltraMini induction kits.
Direct Bluetooth with a separate microphone
The audio layout
Choose MegaMini when you want the listed direct Bluetooth arrangement rather than an induction neckloop. A compatible paired source supplies calls and audio playback, while the separate microphone handles outgoing call audio.
The battery format
The earpiece uses a rechargeable LIR640 cell. This battery format differs from the disposable 337 / SR416SW cells used by the current Mini, SuperMini and UltraMini receivers.
Choose one or two supplied earpiece batteries
The battery selector changes the number of supplied LIR640 cells. Both choices contain the same MegaMini earpiece and separate Bluetooth microphone.
Listed earpiece runtime is up to 2.5 hours. The microphone has a separate listed runtime of up to 25 hours. These figures describe different components and should not be added together.
Check charging and phone functions
Use the MegaMini model instructions for pairing and the specified battery charging arrangement. Check both call audio and microphone routing with your exact phone before use. Replacement LIR640 cells are available for this model.
