Jack earpieces: check the phone adapter and microphone

The Vip Pro SuperMini Jack kit uses a 3.5 mm wired neckloop. If your phone has a different port, an adapter becomes another part of the setup to verify.

Check the phone’s actual connection

Start with the exact phone model. Identify whether it has a suitable 3.5 mm socket or needs an adapter for its charging and accessory port. Check the phone maker’s guidance and the adapter’s own specification.

A plug fitting a port does not establish every audio function. Some accessories focus on headphone output; your intended call setup may also need microphone support. Ask about both directions of audio.

Check the selected microphone option

The Jack kit comparison lists integrated and wired microphone options. Read the actual selection before ordering. The microphone and neckloop must connect through the intended phone or adapter path.

If you already have an adapter, give our team its exact model rather than describing it only as a USB-C or iPhone adapter. Different devices can share a connector shape.

Run two short tests

  1. Follow the Jack model instructions to connect the system.
  2. Play a short recording at a comfortable level and check incoming sound.
  3. Make an agreed test call and check the sound in both directions.
  4. Note whether a problem affects media, calls or the microphone only.

These tests help identify the part of the path that needs attention. A successful recording test checks output; it does not by itself verify that the other caller can hear the microphone.

Check power separately

The Jack neckloop needs no charging. Its matching SuperMini earpiece still uses a 337/SR416SW battery. Keep that battery check separate from the wired phone connection.

For advice, send CooMax your phone, adapter and kit details. Browse earpiece kits only after the intended connection is clear, and use the supplied guide for safe setup and use.

The earpiece buying guide keeps the adapter, microphone and kit contents together. You can also compare Jack, Bluetooth and GSM connections before deciding whether a wired source suits your phone.
